zengarage

Today was a good day as I am 1: on holidays from the HSC, and 2: I decided to venture out of my driving comfort zone to travel along busy motorways today g’day to an old friend and land myself at Zen Garage.

The garage is set in a little alleyway tucked away in it’s own little nook, the perfect place for such a peaceful little business and place for car enthusiast to hang out and meet ‘n’ greet.

The crew at Zen were more than welcoming and were over all generally interested in having a chat and getting to know me. After hearing what car I owned they were more than happy to have a chat about the plans I have in the future for the old lady, Giving me new ideas and tips that will one day come in handy.

After a while I thought to myself this is what business should be about, helping a fellow enthusiast. (Though I am not a well educated, hardcore enthusiast yet) To the coincidence, as I was thinking that, rob told me the whole reason zen is here is to “fill the void” between your average enthusiast, hardcore enthusiast and down right no knowledge people. And that’s what makes this place and business so unique. They love what they do, and they want to share it with everyone, not just a select bunch.

Needless to say, I hung around for a while, had a good few chats, admired the cars they had to put on show and played some forza with them. Today was a good day. ✌️

If you ever get the chance to go and visit them, definitely do it. Help out a local business since they are real genuine people.

Been far too long since I visited the Zen crew, must drop by and say hello soon.

Coolest place and a rad bunch of people!

ma6-juan you removed your flairs? just fronts or rears aswell? did you just trim the mounting part?

Only fronts. Took them off hammered them as flat and smooth as I could. Then I used bondo to fill the mounting holes. Sanded hella then painted.

looks good ! now for the rears, the hard part, im probably going to get some zg flairs for the rears atleast, if not all 4

I like the rears. I hated the fronts. But I also flattened and pumped the rears as far as they could go. Shit took forever. And ZG’s are nice there is a dark brown one with ssr mkI I’m sure you’ve seen. Looks great with them on.
